Was in STL once when I was being sent to Germany for the 1st time (courtesy of the USAF) and KC was playing the Cards in the WS in 1985. To make a long story short my flight was delayed for 12 hours and every baseball fan that came thru the lounge was either a Card or Royals fan. They would ask where I was headed and when I stated Germany they would say "let me buy you a good old American beer" every time...Budweiser, did I mention it was 12 hours?
