- Kansas leads the all-time series, 23-8. Kansas won the last meeting 85-54 (Feb. 22, 2014; Lawrence).

- Sophomore G Frank Mason III is just behind Ellis with 12.7 points per game (11th in the Big 12). He posted a career-high 21 points at Iowa State (1/17) and has 15-straight games scoring in double figures. Mason is third in the league in assists with 4.2 per game and sixth in free throw percentage at 82.0 percent. He also leads the Jayhawks with 25 three-pointers and pulls down 4.0 rebounds per game.
- Sophomore G Wayne Selden, Jr., is second on the team with 24 three-pointers made. Selden had 12 points at Iowa State (1/17) and scores 8.9 points per contest. Selden has 59 assists.
- Rounding out the three guard-two forward lineup are freshman G Kelly Oubre, Jr., and junior F Jamari Traylor.
- Freshman F Cliff Alexander is typically first off the bench. He notched his second double-double of the season with 13 points and a career-high 13 rebounds against Oklahoma (1/19). He leads Kansas in blocked shots with 25 and in field-goal percentage at 57.3 percent.
