According to an story by Mark Berman of Fox Houston, the Hempstead ISD School Board voted on Monday night to reverse its decision of a week ago and reinstate head football coach Ricky Sargent.
The school board voted to rescind its action from last week. The school board's only disciplinary action against Sargent will be when he was initially placed on administrative leave after he ordered two student-athletes be left last month at a restaurant at 11 p.m., more than an hour from home because they were misbehaving.
