Harbaugh a real possibility?

So today...before the news broke about Saban (if that news turns out to be true), I began to think how much I would prefer Harbaugh. What I don't like about Harbaugh is that he is a current coach who will no doubt not leave his team in the middle of playoffs....but otherwise, he seems like an incredible coach and i like the fact that he appears to be squeaky clean. I am concerned about Saban's reputation and SEC connection. Not sure if there is anything to that reputation, but I don't like the possibility that there is.

So anyone know if we have a chance at Harbaugh?

Nope:

That's big news RT @BobbyBurton247: BREAKING: Source tells me that Mack Brown, following mtg w school prez and AD, will remain coach

Harbaugh is a little bit of a stretch for even Texas to get. Face it, he is not leaving the NFL for any college unless he is either fired or gets at least one Super Bowl trophy first. I don't care if the job is Texas, and he will win 10 national championships there, there is no way he is coming until he reaches his goal in the NFL first of winning a Super Bowl.

Personally, I feel when he does return to college, he will end up at Michigan because of the alma mater thing and there is a greater likelihood there will be a job there when he is ready to make a move and the Texas job will not be open.

I don't know how we can say this with confidence. May he think that way? Sure! But how do we know? For all we know, he loved the college game and felt his gifts were more suited for one reason or another.

But that's not to say that you couldn't be correct.
