ESPN. @RodGilmore: Hearing Fedora to Texas.

What you say???
Having a big game today. . .he was rumored to be high on Dodds list and I think he's a very good coach. . . . to me. . .he's in the Tim DeRuyter . .James Franklin. . Calhoun (AF coach) etc etc category. . . a potential next but not now. . .

Bigger reach than Sark to USC. . .again. . .JMHO . . .

Fedora would be a Mack choice.
This is enough to make me not want him "Fedora would be a Mack choice". After what MB has put Texas through I don't think I would want anyone MB would like are likes. My friends y'all have a great weekend.

The Fedora's are a well respected family in the Bryan College Station area. I believe Fedora is a very good coach and could possibly be a great hire for the Horns. However he is not the home run, can't miss hire everyone is looking for. I think it would be a huge gamble at this point in his career.

Lol. So are the Manziels, and probably also the Lohans.

I don't think "well respected in Bryan College Station" is an attribute we are really looking for in our next coach.

Actually the Manziels are not that well respected, that is why Poppa Manziel was booted from the local country club. Larry Fedora's dad owned a local barber shop for 20-30 years and very active in a local catholic church. The Fedora's are supporters of several local school and youth organizations in the community. There is really no comparison at all between the Fedora family and the Manziels......But I understand nobody from the B/CS area could be respected enough to ever be considered for a job in Austin.

Besides where in my post did I say Fedora should be hired as the next coach. I believe I said it would be a huge gamble.

If it was Fedora, we'd be hearing about it right now. His thing is over, Mack's already retired, this would be a Mack-approved hire. There would be no sense in waiting.

A longgggg time ago I dated one of the Manziel sisters. She was an absolute beauty. But the rest of the clan let me know right away what was up. Our dating lasted two months. I had friends telling me I was crazy. In hindsight, I probably was.
