Couple More Roster Notes For USC

Couple of things to pass along that we were made aware of earlier today. We wanted to keep it quiet, but it seems to be out there now, so here we go. 

Freshman corner Josh Thompson won't be making the trip to LA with the team. Thompson has been banged up dating back to camp, so he is nursing some bumps and bruises. 

The second bit of information is regards to a little shake up at corner. Look for Davante Davis to get the start over Kris Boyd who has struggled early on this year. Expectation is Boyd will still log snaps against USC, but Davis will roll out with the first team first against the Trojans.

Boyd, Hill, and Davis just can't put together any kind of consistency at the position. Still have a chance to be near the level of Griffin, Ross, and Brown. Time is running out though.

It does suck. From everything I've heard and read, and saw in the 4th qtr last week, I expect him to be special before his time is done on the 40 acres.
