Rumors are out there that a qb with the following criteria has reached out to Texas.

Current Top 25 team 
P5 Conference 
Former Rivals 4* recruit who was recruited by Watson specifically and several top programs in general, considered a top signal caller coming out of high school 
 

Connor Brewer fits all these criteria, as he's a backup at Arizona, they are a P5 team, was a rivals 4 star, Watson recruited him at Nebraska, and he was recruited by several top programs. Would be hilarious if true, because if he had stayed another year he would already be the starter.

It would only be entertaining if he plays well if it actually happens! Never know, weirder things have happened. Plus, maybe some if his credits didn't transfer to Zona and he can reclaim those hours back in Austin!

I'm mutual friends with some of the Brewer family. The breakup with Texas certainly wasn't bad, but there were some issues. I would be really surprised if Brewer is heading back to Texas. Granted, it is a new staff.

Swimmer. Ashley and my sister used to compete against each other and went to swim camps together. 

She's definitely a looker. The next Erin Andrews in the making, it won't be long until she's on ESPN.

I'm not positive he wouldn't return to Texas

Connor didn't get along with Major, which is the main reason he transferred. Maybe he likes the new staff. Like I said, I still find it very unlikely that Connor would transfer back Texas with the way things went down last time.

Different personalities. Certain people don't gel together. Connor committed to Texas because of Harsin. Once Harsin left for Arkansas State and Applewhite became the OC, he was gone. Everyone around him knew he was pretty much gone even as early as January in 2013.
