According to Chip Brown, Conner Williams returned to practice yesterday.  I' not sure if this means he is back in the lineup or not, but we did see him suited up on Saturday.  If Conner is 100% and wants to play then he will be a huge, no, gigantic upgrade to the OL.  One thing the Cowboys/Falcons game solidified for me was that even a good Oline looks pedestrian or below avg when you'e missing an all-pro/all-american left tackle.  The Cowboys got demolished without Smith yesterday and they still had 2 all-pros on the line.  One loose link and the whole chain is weak.  For the Longhorns, they'e been playing with 2 loose links on the outside.  Maybe Vahe can concentrate on his job, Shack on his and so on without having to worrying about helping out on that side.  Still have to help out Kerstetter, but the H-back can alleviate some of that.

He was suited out for Kansas, I think he plays in Morgantown.   Not sure how much that helps with lack of game conditioning.

It will help Now will it make a difference-- I think it should  He  sure can't make it worse

I admire Conner's dedication , but honestly I hope he does not play as his future is now with the NFL and I hope that Herman does not put his future career at risk for these next two games . Connor has been something special and I just think he needs to be protected from himself on this one.

I understand your sentiment but why is everyone so convinced that he doesn't return for his senior year?  I'm not convinced that he he doesn't return.  It may actually come down to how he feels after these last few games...

I just think he has proved himself to the NFL that he is a first round draft selection already and there is very little that will be gained by returning for another year .  The risk in my opinion is much greater than the reward .
