I hold a special disdain for ou. Call me bitter or whatever. But I've not been a happy camper in the last decade or so. Last year was the ultimate satisfaction for me though, for a change.

ou has had a year to better themselves since the massacre in Dallas last year. They recruited well and played the portal. They are improved.. . in some ways.

I do not respect the schedule they play. Given how their defense has been scored upon by teams who are at best, weak, I think we have a shot at scoring a lot of points this week.

Their offense will be better than last year if only because Dillon Gabriel will be playing. But Gabriel is not used to playing a defense as fast as ours. I think this will give him problems. I also think his passes lack a certain zip on them. He's accurate, but his passes hang in the air, making them susceptible to being picked off. I think we get two picks in this game, and perhaps one of those ends in six points.

I think our offense has an exciting day. I think our defense holds ou to about half of their normal production, thus far.

I counted last year and they had something like 7 or 8 different players take a snap at QB. That was really wild and clearly they just had nothing on offense. They will be much better with Gabriel, but our defense is also quite a bit better this year.

On O, you know Coach Sark will have some really great plays schemed up. This is a game he most definitely spent some extra time on this offseason to be ready to attack these guys on defense.

Man I am pumped for this game ! Zero u better be ready for an ass wuppin!

im thinking we put on a display where everything is clicking (come on special teams)

per Oddshark the game opened at Texas minus 3.5 but is now at Texas -4.5, Pregame .com has it as Texas -5

the O/U made a huge move from 68.5 all the way down to 59

are there any early weather reports for DFW yet

I agree with SHA that they have scored a bunch of points on a bunch of nobodies. I think they find out this Saturday that it’s a lot harder to score on these guys. It won’t be as much fun as last year! Us - 42 them - 10

High of about 63-64, winds 5-10 gusting to 20, no significant chance of rain. Perfect weather, but wind gusts could result in some inaccurate throws or field goal attempts.

CJ Vogel, TFB "There's a lot of confidence on the OU side."

Me "Why?"

lol

Blow U has proven they can score against terrible teams but not so much against bad teams.

They play an elite team this week!

Texas exposes them for what they are, NOBODIES, 52-10 Horns
