The selection is going on as I type this but it has been confirmed through multiple sources that former Texas A&M coach R.C. Slocum will make the CFB HOF.

Slocum making the college football hall of fame is one of the biggest farces ever known to man. What in the hell has he ever won (other than beating OU and then losing to McNeese the next week)?

Sadly he was the best thing aggy had and then they received delusions of grandeur and brought in Coach Fran. That tanked and they brough it the Sherminator. That tanked and they moved to the SEC and hired Sumlin, who will also tank.

Moral of the story: RC would still be coach had you remembered your place in college football. Second tier!

Bowl Record: 3-8

3 SWC Championships

1 Big XII Championship

The aggies never finished in the top 5 under Slocum. I can easily see how he is in the Texas Football Hall of Fame but he has absolutely no business being in the College Football Hall of Fame.

RC went undefeated in conference play from '91-'94'. 4 years of not losing to a SWC opponent is admirable but enough to get one into the Hall of Fame.

I remember RC had a couple decent teams in the late 90's but I remember them never really doing much.

I was a Dat Nguyen fan. He was a tackling machine for A&M.
