I have no inside info whatsoever, but Browns GM Mike Lombardi and Nick Saban are close.

Saban wouldn't go back to the NFL to be in Cleveland, OH. That franchise is an absolute joke.

Go to Cleveland and play for a team that just fired their coach after one year (tons of job security there) or go to Austin and play for a team that just gave our underperforming head coach his buyout plus another 1.3 M per year just to not foul things up on the way out. That alone is reason enough to pick Texas.
