Nelson is an underrated lineman from the state of Florida. He's a solid defensive tackle prospect that may have more upside at offensive guard. This kid is nimble, agile and very light on his feet. Nelson is quick off the ball and can move forward and laterally very well within the box. At this stage more of a run stuffer then pass rusher. Nelson has athleticism and plays with good leverage. if hs is 274# he moves pretty well. He could play DE in a 3 DL system. Regardless he will need to work a lot on hand technique bc i didnt seem much shedding going on.

He could throw at TD and still not be one of the top 5 heaviest QBs to throw a TD in college, haha.

edit:just looked him up and he is listed at 6-2 295#, wow. If he works on the point of attack and is more physical with his hands, he could be decent.

Valentine is very important IMO bc if we are running a 3 man front, we need a big man that can take on 2 blockers. Listed at 330#. His offer list is impressive.

Ford is very good also. Smaller at 6-0 280# but more athletic. a small bowling ball.

I like what I see, almost has a lil Malcom Brown in his game. This is one I think we land, especially when he called us.

Im very hopeful at least an offer goes out to Valentine. Ford...man that would just be a bonanza. All three of these guys are far superior to the ones who left.
