Can anyone tell me why this kid doesn't have an offer?

reminds me a lot of Jamaal Charles, with maybe a little more power.

looks like BU, OU, and UT recruited him. Predicted to go to OU if i'm reading correctly.

Kids looks like he has good speed... I have no idea as to why/why not the kids has been contacted by Texas. Personally, I think the kids runs a little too upright and doesn't show elite burst/quickness, but I like more of a shifty back ala Trey Williams, Gray, Charles, Bush, Priest, Emmett, etc. I'm not a coach, scout, or anything like that so I may be flat wrong.

My ideal back is 5'8" to 6'0" around 185 lbs in HS around 205 lbs in College with a quick burst and/or a jumpstep if you will. If you show speed on top of that, you have a chance to be elite.

This kid kinda has a Rodney Anderson feel to him, just a little leaner. Definately not a bad back, perhaps a good to great back. Just not my preference.

The old staff was pretty interested late in the process. As far as I know, he really likes Texas and Jamaal Charles is his favorite player. I really hope that the new staff offers him. He is really, really good.

Speedwise, maybe he is like Charles... I don't see hips like Charles at all and that is a big reason Charles is who he is imo...

Rb probably isn't that big of a need. You can't take them just because..he's a baller though.

He is a 2015 kid and I read on the boards he probably would have got an offer but with the coaching change that probably still happens just not as fast as we all want.

SOSO JAMABO is the reason we have not recruited this kid harder...
Two very different types of backs and there is no guarantee that Soso doesn't outgrow RB.

Believe what you want, you asked a question; I gave an answer. I am sure he will get recruited eventually. SO Far, Mack and company had only recruited the elites of 2015. There are new sets of eyes doing the evaluating now, so I expect a lot to change. There are probably 50 kids you could ask the same question of. the answer would be the same... SOSO JAMABO. He is a Texas lean and one of the most sought after 2015 kids so he is gonna top most of the lists.

The guy definitely has some talent. He's great at finding the gap and bursting through the line but if he continues to run straight up like he is right now, he's going to get his bell rung. Texas should keep an eye on him. He could be a decent fallback if we can't bring in Soso.

Have you checked his grades, attitude and you know that anyone that runs away from pursuit has to be running from the law. NO I do not know why UT has not offered. But he sure looks good.

Eric Nahlin on Him.

"Do I like him??? Man I love him. We were on him pretty early, before he had a single offer.

He's a victim of the coaching change and the need for the new coaches to focus on 2014. If he's not a priority when time clears up, then I don't know what to say. He's an absolute stud.

I talked to Ronald yesterday. Baylor stopped by. The thought of him in that offense makes me happy (for him) and sad (for everyone else) at the same time."

Sorry. Jamabo is not a Texas lean. On Jones, his film does not do him justice. You do not want him going to Baylor. And RB is a priority in what will be an OSU style of offense.

Ronald Jones received an offer from Alabama today.

Strong invited him to junior day but he turned it down so if he don't want to be here bye there's plenty of other great Rb out there.
