Cameron Ridley has grown up

Ridley was named Big 12 player of the week this week and for good reason - Two double-doubles in the wins over Kansas State and Baylor.

The most obvious thing about his play this year is he plays more physical and with a lot more confidence. He leads the team in rebounds and blocks on the season and is a huge reason why the Horns are playing so well. His progress from last year to this season is incredible.

Texas will make the tournament this year and this team will have earned a well-deserved spot in the field. At this rate, if things continue as they are, Texas earns a 5 or 6 seed in the tourney. Can't wait to see them back in action in March!

Ridley is a huge piece to the UT basketball puzzle.... Let's keep rolling.

Losing weight was the biggest thing for Ridley. I think he had talent last year, just wasn't in shape.

He is playing some damn good basketball. He makes it very hard for the other team to come into the paint. His offensive game has improved a ton.
