at Neuhaus. Saw Kennedy Estelle, Erik Huhn and Daje Johnson were walking into the team meeting.

Not that I've heard of. Sounds like Daje is still part of the team though. Some thought he might already be gone.

It was useful, because there's been reports that Daje was already out of Austin. That apparently isn't true.

It's going to be interesting how Daje plays out with Strong. Don't think Strong will put up with much of his mess (that's if Daje really is still part of the team).

I think what's possibly important about this meeting is some of the new coaches will be there to greet the players. It wouldn't be a surprise for something to get leaked, though of course no guarantee.

Strong could do a lot for Daje and Daje could do a lot for Strong. Strong needs people he can depend on, on and off the field. He needs people to step up and lead. It would be great to see Daje turn the corner and buy into what his coach is trying to do for him.

I agree I think Strong would do wonders for Daje. I love Mack, but Mack wasn't a good fit for Daje. Daje needs somebody like Strong that can get in his face and tell him like it is. I know Daje is young but the coddling has to stop if there's going to be change.

And coaches meeting coaches.... ;)

Some players have to be motivated by getting in their face and screaming and yelling. Not with cookies and milk. Daje is the former, not the latter. If he stays in the program, he will benefit from Charlie's toughness and intensity.

per JS: Watson is hired as the QB coach and Wyatt is retained as WR coach. Wickline will be involved in some co-offensive coordinator role

no word yet who the other Co-OC is.

Would make sense to Co-OC with Wyatt. Or at least that's what I'm hoping.

Wickline hasn't been an OC for 25 years- not sure i buy the "CO" title, nor do i think that makes sense.
