Big Games This Weekend

Just because the Horns have a bye this week doesn't mean that college football disappears. What big games will everyone be watching this weekend? I know that I am looking forward to Pitt - ND and Bama - Arkansas. And of course I will be watching to see Okie State kick the living piss out of the Aggies.

I am most looking forward to that OK State game. I hope their offense puts up big numbers against the a&m defense. The Alabama/Hogs game should be really interesting too. I think Bama wins that one with defense but it will be close. Surprised LSU Greg hasn't posted anything about the LSU/West Virginia game that is on ABC tonight... Not having Longhorn football on Saturday is not fun.

You damn straight I'm here! My tigers are gonna send the Mountaineers back to the damn mountains! Tiger D baby! Steamrollin' teams all the way to da Sugar Bowl Baby!

An away game for LSU could mean trouble. WVU has a decent offense so I would watch out!

Watching Pitt whip a slow Notre Dame team. I am looking forward to the atm game. I love watching the Big 12 teams send teams out of their conference with their tail in between their legs. Long live the SWC and the Big Eight.

So I guess you would be happy bringing on UH and SMU back into the Big XII? Please do not tell me it is so!

I am a fan of the SWC but Andre Ware is gone and the Pony Express was corrupt. No go on these two teams.

I might take TCU in the Big XII but why would they leave the Big East which is alread a BCS conference?

So they didn't have to travel so far to play. I am not a big fan of the Horned Frogs. Davey O'Brien = John David Crow = tired. Max Knacke was a puss too.

Houston does not need the Big 12. We have conference USA, the most dominate high school district in the country. If Bob Lanier was our state governor, he would use the rainy day fund to hep by our way into the Big Eight or the SEC. Long live the SWC and the Big Eight.

Bama - Arkansas: I knew that these were two good football teams coming into the game. I am still convinced the Razorbacks have what it takes to be competitive in the SEC (even though they are still breaking in two new offensive tackles and have made some mistakes) and I really like what they are doing on offense. Tyler Wilson will definitely be a QB to watch in the future. But watching what Bama is doing is absolutely astonishing. They had to replace 4 first round draft picks and a QB and I think they look BETTER than last year. No doubt in mind that Bama is the best team in college football right now.

LSU/Bama will be the game that crowns a champion. These two teams are absolutely amazing this year. Stout defenses are winning these games. These teams look very complete.

It was good to see tamu lose - especially at home. I cannot stand that sorry ass stadium.
