Looking like the Big 12 will get 7 teams in the tournament after last night. Texas, KU, Oklahoma, Iowa State, Kansas State, Baylor and Oklahoma State. With even an outside shot of getting 8 teams in the tourney. Broadcasters were saying this morning if West Virginia can win 1 out of the next 2 and finish .500 in the Big 12 they will have a shot to get in the tourney.
I can't remember a conference being this good. There might have been a conference like the ACC getting more teams in the tourney, but to have a chance at getting 80 percent of the teams in the tourney is just downright crazy. Another reason I have to give Barnes props for the season. To be at 21 wins with a chance to get to 23 wins, in hands down the best conference, is something else (not to mention a roster full of underclassmen).
