First I have to get this out there, I love Quentin Tarantino movies. I don't think I have missed a one and Django is not exception. It's over the top violent. Jamie Foxx kills maybe 50 people and the blood and gore is horrific. This movie, like all his movies, is laced with humor. He has a knack of defusing the most tense moment with humor and he is one of the best at it. Think of Sam Pecanpah meets a spaghetti western and throw in a central theme of slavery and you have the movie.
I can't wait to get the sound track and here is one of the better songs. "Who did that to you?" by John Legend

Tarrantino is such greatness because of his supporting casts. With a cast of Jamie Foxx as the hero of the story and a supporting with the likes of Don Johnson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L Jackson, Walter Goggins, Bruce Dern, Michael Parks and so many others. Tarantino never forgets the old guys he grew up watching and gets them in whenever he can.
One thing..If you don't like over the top violence and the three hour length then stay away.
On a Bevo scale of one horn to five horns. I give Django Four Horns. Worth the $10.50 for a ticket.
