Pat Forde looked into looked at five of the six rankings that are used by the BCS – Wolfe doesn't release its first public rankings until Sunday – and four different teams are ranked No. 1: Alabama (Sagarin), Florida (Anderson & Hester), Oregon (Billingsley) and Notre Dame (Colley and Massey).

That's right Notre Dame ranked ahead of Alabama. Florida is number one and South Carolina if they defeat LSU this weekend will jump both and be ranked number one by computers.

Meanwhile Alabama and Oregon just win and get no computer love.

The hype machine is off and running for the Golden Domers. I hate Notre Dame as much as OU and the Ags. The best team in the nation is Alabama, hands done. Nick Satan has that team going.

They have defeated no one of importance. Miami and those Big X pukes are horrible..but..you are correct about ND getting their PR machine up and moving.

Folks, gear up for the Domers to play a big role in the BCS this year. I'm not a huge fan but they have come leaps and bound from last year. Plus they have a sophmore qb that can play. Rees got screwed much like Dayne Crist did by Brian kelly - but looks like he made the right decision with Everett Golson. Dual threat pimp.
