UT Athletics invites fans to the 2014 Texas Football Fan Day presented by Wells Fargo on Sunday, Aug. 10. The day's activities start with a 9:30 a.m. open practice at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. This is the first opportunity for fans to get a glimpse of the Longhorns before the season opener vs. North Texas. The stadium opens at 9 a.m. and fans may enter through Gates 1, 7, 14, 25, 27, and 32.

All sections in the lower bowl are open for seating. Practice concludes at approximately noon.

Following practice, fans are encouraged to head to the Frank Erwin Center for autographs from players and assistant coaches. All entrances open at 1:30 p.m. (the Red River Entrance will be reserved for ADA and mobility impaired guests).

Autographs are available on the arena level concourse from defensive players and kickers, while offensive players will be located on the mezzanine level. On the arena floor, Coach Strong will be available for photographs and assistant coaches will sign autographs. Photos with Coach Charlie Strong will be taken by Texas Athletics personnel; fans will be given information on how to download their FREE photo online.

Special 18x24 commemorative posters will be provided for autographs. No outside items (including footballs, T-shirts, tickets, etc.) may be brought in for autographs. Photos with players and assistant coaches are also not permitted.

Fans are welcome to take photos with some of Texas' greatest traditions on hand at this Texas-sized event: Bevo XIV, Smokey the Cannon, Texas Cheer and Pom, Hook 'Em, and the world's largest Hook 'Em inflatable.

All autographs and activities are FREE and on a first-come, first-served basis. Large crowds are expected so please prepare accordingly. Fans are admitted to the Erwin Center only until 3:15 p.m., and the event concludes at 4 p.m. Due to a prior commitment, all players and coaches must leave promptly at 4 p.m.
