Whew...I thought we were about to let one slip away. If we play like the first 30 minutes. we can take Michigan. Can't play like the last 10 min.
Holmes and Felix need to play better. Taylor, Holland, and Walker running the floor is fun to watch. Athletic!

I agree that Felix and Holmes must play better. Holmes has been off since his injury, at least inconsistent, but we have to have him hitting on all cylinders.
As far as Felix, we need him, but Walker's play last night made me feel a little better about him not playing well. I feel like we have options where he is concerned. The question is will Barnes have enough faith in Walker if Felix is off? We were a different team with Walker out there last night, IMO.

Totally agree Holmes' consistency...he has so much talent, but at times seems to have mental lapses (turnovers, stupid fouls). The LHN video of him mocking Barnes was funny..."are you dumb, or stupid?". I love his upside, but we need it now.
Agree on Walker. He was the difference getting the 12-pt lead (or was it 14?). He has surprised me and if I recall, he had question marks as a shooter coming in. Our guards (outside of Felix) can slash to the basket. If they can develop more during the offseason, they will be tough to defend.

i loved this game and ending. i also loved the reaction of both teams, one team united in jumping and one team united in laying on the floor, bless their hearts. i think the video of the ending is what march madness is all about. both teams gutting it out and ending with their hearts on the floor. what a nice tribute to the game.
both teams played great and i hated to see one of them lose. i have loved to see the progression of cam ridley from last year to this year. it's been just amazing. i think he has a nice career ahead of him if he progresses next year as he has this year.
we can beat michigan, i think.

I have us beating Michigan in my bracket which is already seriously screwed. . .
Having said that. . . .not sure I get the "gloating" . . . . .while a great finish. . . one could ask WTF is was so close at the end. . . .and it almost was one and done. . . .again .. .

We were lucky to squeak out a win vs a team we outmatched. . . .I'll take the win but I wouldn't be talking shit about it. . .

we were favored by 2, so not sure how 'outmatched' ASU was.

Luck had nothing to do with it.
"Fortuitous" then? The ball-slap from Felix into Ridley's hands seemed fortuitous to me. Granted, both had great position on their guys when it counted.
I was not looking forward to OT with most of the starters with 4 fouls. And double-bonus. And refs calling everything.
