Biff!  You just like that picture!  ;)
It's worse than that! My honey caught me loading it, but fortunately she actually got it for X-mas one year in the 70's from her evil little brother, and she set precedence by not killing or even maiming him. Martial arts chicks can be a pain unless they are happy with you,  but it does keep me in line. Even though she's never used it on me, or threatened me with it in 35 years of marriage, she can still do that crap, just fine...I know it's there. I was only a Marine, I can't deal with the level of a woman that may or may not be able to kick my ass, though much smaller. She's a sweet angel most of the time, but the potential for violence ignored is just unwise.

OK - going to change it up a bit here...

LISTEN PEEPS.

Biff, I have never had that problem with women, but as you know, size is not always the deciding factor.  I started boxing Golden Gloves in the seventh grade.  I was the biggest athletic kid in my class, so I had a hard time not attracting the bullies from the seventh and eighth grades.  I had to start boxing just to be able to protect myself.  After a couple of months in the fall, I began to get pretty good.  After high school football season was over, the high school football players decided to make an appearance.  Most of the kids closer to my age did not want to spar with me, so coach let me spar with the high school football players.  Well, I wailed away on some of those guys that were thirty pounds heavier than me to the point that most of them quit after three or four days.  So there I was again with nobody to spar against.  I had a couple of friends who were all of 100 pounds each soaking wet.  Not that it really matters, but they were Hispanic kids who had had boxing in their family culture since they could barely walk.  I asked coach if we could spar, and both of those two guys wailed on me with no mercy even though I probably weighed twice what they did individually.  I have to say that both of those guys and I became close friends and allies, and throughout the rest of our schooling together, we fought the good fight against anybody who thought they were going to bully anybody else.  I had this size does not matter issue reinforced in college when I studied Tae Kwon Do.  Just a general observation - if you have not already figured this out, which it sounds like you have, it would probably serve you well to continue to cultivate that wife of yours as an ally, with your own self preservation as a much desired result!  ;)
