4/5 Star Class of 2014 WR KD Cannon Names a Leader

Just talked to Class of 2014 Mt. Pleasant HS (MT Pleasant Texas) WR KD Cannon via Twitter. The potential 4 or 5 star receiver said Oklahoma is at the top of his list. Also considering Oklahoma State. I'll keep you posted.

Cannon has offers from just about every Texas school, the Oklahoma little brothers and West Virginia. He is a talented guy and will most likely climb the recruiting ladder as the '14 push gets going in full force.

He's around the top of an already potentially legendary Class of 2014 in East Texas. Loves OU. Also visiting Ft Worth tomorrow and Stillwater next week. No timetable on commit date. Going to take his time.

He has plenty of time too! He has a little time to put some weight on that frame of his. 6 foot and around 160 lbs?

I am not going to go rogue on you but I hope the Texas slippage this year in recruiting turns out to be nothing more than a brief worry, with RSJ committing and putting the gift-wrapped bow on the '13 class. Things are a bit "shiftier" it seems this year and the 2014 interests need to visit the campus as soon as possible. Texas does things right with approved offers and I am confident we bring the best in to Texas. I say get 'em in, get 'em interested in Texas soon.
