24 and Jack Bauer are back!

During a press call this morning, Fox President Kevin Reilly not only confirmed that the series will be back but that it will span 12 episodes rather than 24, and that it's expected to debut May 2014.

 

Said Reilly:, [it's] 24 compressed over 12 weeks. It will go chronologically over the day, but it will skip hours. It will be dictated by the plot.” The new series will be called: 24: Live Another Day.

I got into the second season. The thing with 24 is you have to suspend common sense and reason. One season they dropped a nuclear bomb on LA and by the next 5-6 shows, things were back to normal. Remember the entire show happens in real time in one day.
