Just got a text from an old friend who is a family member of Braedon Mowry, the DE from Taylor.  Apparently, Mowry's having second thoughts about aggy and his 2nd choice is Texas.  Looks like there might be a chance to get him depending on how things play out.

Add to that the high level of discipline that Katy's defense is known for...which should translate well on the field at the next level.  The fact that he's a good kid from a national powerhouse program doesn't hurt either.

I think so...he's taller than most of the other players and they're not small.  He's probably got some growing left in him, too.

I've seen Ojomo play a few times this year and he was certainly impressive against Northshore a few days ago (as was the entire Katy defense).  Would love to see him on campus.  In addition to his physical attributes, he's going to have the mental part down too since Katy plays such disciplined...

Mowry is the nephew of a good friend of mine.  There's a lot of aggy leaning in his family, so he probably ends up there, unfortunately.
