The lack of a running game in games against the better teams really hindered the offense. You're pretty much playing with one arm behind your back in those games when your running backs average less than 3 yards a carry. And that's on both the running backs and offensive line. And, let's face...

I'm going to have to agree with you here. I know Ewers catches a lot of flack for taking so many sacks but him and Manning were sacked at pretty close to the same rate.

So no one really has brought how bad our running game was? Go look at what we got from our running backs in 3 of the last 4 games, i.e. Georgia, ASU, and Ohio State. It was beyond bad. Think more like putrid. From our running backs, we got 167 yards rushing on 58 carries in those 3 games.

Someone explain to me how this works. Penn State is 11th in pass defense and 23rd in rush defense but 5th overall. While Georgia is 10th in pass defense and 11th in rush defense but 16th overall. How can you be ranked higher than another team in both pass defense and rush defense but ranked...
