Watch out how you talk about us old guys;) Duane Akina is old but he ain't that old. He's only 68 and won't be 70 years old until October 22, 2026.

I went to 4 different sources on the net and they all had Kevin Durant at 6'11".

Yea, probably a safe bet that Arch will not be a main feature of the running game.

Couldn't tell you. Never saw him play a down of football this year. Which means I also don't know if he played with a torn oblique and/or a bad ankle. Or if he played with running backs who were very average and non-existent against really good teams. Or if one side of his offensive line was...

There's not a doubt in my mind that Quinn was better than what many gave him credit for and got way too much criticism. However....................................I'm not so sure that Arch doesn't have the "IT" factor.

Yea, Quinn's play never reached the hype he came in with but he also didn't get the credit he deserved from a lot of people.

My completely armchair coach thoughts on this season

The lack of a running game in games against the better teams really hindered the offense. You're pretty much playing with one arm behind your back in those games when your running backs average less than 3 yards a carry. And that's on both the running backs and offensive line. And, let's face...

My completely armchair coach thoughts on this season

I'm going to have to agree with you here. I know Ewers catches a lot of flack for taking so many sacks but him and Manning were sacked at pretty close to the same rate.

My completely armchair coach thoughts on this season

So no one really has brought how bad our running game was? Go look at what we got from our running backs in 3 of the last 4 games, i.e. Georgia, ASU, and Ohio State. It was beyond bad. Think more like putrid. From our running backs, we got 167 yards rushing on 58 carries in those 3 games.

Hey, it's all good. Hell, I don't even know if I even had point and I certainly wasn't intending to debate anything. I was just sharing information and having little conversation.

I remember watching Lenny Moore who played with Johnny Unitas and was known for his speed. Even had the nickname Lightning Lenny. He is the only player in NFL history to have at least 40 receiving touchdowns and 40 rushing touchdowns, having rushed for 63 touchdowns and caught 48 touchdowns passes.

Someone explain to me how this works. Penn State is 11th in pass defense and 23rd in rush defense but 5th overall. While Georgia is 10th in pass defense and 11th in rush defense but 16th overall. How can you be ranked higher than another team in both pass defense and rush defense but ranked...
