That stuff was infuriating all game. I truly and sincerly hope Purdue continues to be the school with the most NCAA tournament wins without a title. I loathe that Texas somehow got things to click, played their guts, only to be screwed by that BS.

Wow... the Horns played awesome... Purdue got away with some ridiculous stuff, and we almost pulled it out. Really happy to have Miller as our HC. I think he can get some great things done here.

Apparently Volantis wants to be a starter. I think he better affects the team as a closer. But if Schloss and Volantis think his best path for the future is a starter, then starter it is. Also to consider... do we have a 3rd starter for weekend SEC baseball? Cozart has been okay on Tuesdays...

Hopefully Schloss can find a closer next year... Burns looks so uncomfortable this year compared to last. I guess he was the 7th or 8th inning setup guy last year, the pressure may be too much for him to be the main closer this year.

Without a shutdown closer like Volantis, it feels like we better have at least a 6-run lead going into the 9th... We've blown 2 Fridays where we established solid leads and absolutely wasted them both times.

Somehow they held on... wow! Can Wilcher transfer already? I don't think I've seen a more incompetent D1 player in a Texas uniform. Turnovers and boneheaded plays are all I have seen from him the entire year.

From personal experience, rotator cuff rehab is the worst... Of course I'm a couple of decades older and quite a bit less athletic than Mr. Williams, but the shoulder immobility and sleeping sitting up absolutely sucked!

I agree with your sentiment. However, Tech is doing the same thing in softball. They bought the top pitcher last year and it sounds like they bought the #1 team to put around her this year. Hopefully, our girls can beat them again! Overall, it definitely isn't as prevalent as men's football.
