I've watched film breakdown after film breakdown of the last two weeks and they all seem to say the same thing, Sark's play calling has been solid. I'm not here to praise the almighty Sark or defend him, but I've seen multiple sessions that point to the problem being the QB 1st and OL 2nd...
Didnt Sikorski cross train at C? I mean I'm good with Goosby, Seymore/Hutson, Sikorski, Baker and Siani.
I saw some plays where I think Baker looks bad, but I think it's because Robertson took the wrong assignment and he was caught flat footed.
I agree with what you guys are saying and Sark is certainly to blame because he is the head coach. It's his decision to have those players in there.
To me, when it comes to protection, the coach calls the play and it's up to the QB and C to identify any changes they see. If I'm not...
One other thing that stood out to me yesterday was Texas again lost the TO battle. In fact, the Texas D has forced 0 turnovers in three games in SEC play. Texas is -6 (including the punt block) in that category through 3 SEC games. You count the failed 4th down attempts and it's -8 or 9...
So, you're telling me Robertson is our best option at C? That is a travesty. On at least one 4th and 1 the blitz came right up the middle. A competent C should've saw the blitz by the LB as it wasn't disguised. Instead he blocked down like he was probably taught, but sometimes you take...
I really didn't start watching the Longhorns until 1987. I was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan back then, but when I had HS teammates Johnny Walker, and Keith and Kerry Cash (I was a lot younger than them) go there I started watching religiously. Patterned my game after Brit Hager after that. Prior...
Imo, Coleman goes pro this year; Locket transfers; Wingo and Mosley come back. Bishop is a starter and Kohen Brown gets in the mix. I'm not even counting on the transfer portal. I think Texas will be fine at WR.
Need more top level OL.
Very true, but they also faced an under talented UTSA team that gave them fits. While they won handily, it wasn't a pretty offensive showing. The next 3 teams all have better talent than UTSA, as a whole.
