    The SEC thread

Oh my. Not sure how to feel about this. https://www.on3.com/news/greg-sankey-i-have-people-in-my-room-asking-why-are-we-still-in-the-ncaa/?fbclid=IwY2xjawKh4jRleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHlddSolKQjR7Opckv7mfw2wsKbWfsIxCTYYCwpJm5xhpzMM0yB2CCZlpfRmM_aem_-W9GyYo2dKm3DvD3JzwWkw

    The SEC thread

Perhaps, but as the advantages of big money blue bloods increases, it will become harder and harder for schools like that to succeed. When those schools do succeed, the players and coaches are likely to get offers from other schools, that will be difficult to ignore. As impressive as...

    The SEC thread

The new 105 roster limit and revenue sharing will further the hierarchy of college football. If you aren't a big money blue blood institution, you will mostly be left on the outside looking in. Schools like ou will be at some disadvantage, but smaller non SEC/B1G will really be *ucked...

    Longhorn News/Discussion (Non-Recruiting)

I guess you can't blame them for asking, but CDC probably laughed at the request.

    2025 Baseball thread

Oops. Here is what the baseball changes "In NCAA Division I baseball, the roster size limit is 34 players, with all players eligible to receive a full scholarship. This is a change from the previous system where schools were restricted to a smaller number of scholarships. The NCAA has also...

Another explanation is that the schools could have the green light for the new 105 roster limit, with current walk on not counting for the remainder of their eligibility.

The larger number may be in anticipation of the new 105 roster/scholarship change.

    2026 Recruiting Board/Thread

It seems like they are getting close to resolving the issues with house vs NCAA settlement, so it's very like that the 85 scholarship limit will be replaced by a 105 player roster limit, with players grandfathered in, allowing for walk ons to be essentially phased out over 4 years. Given that...

Bru McCoy medically retires. No mention of all the early problems he had at Texas and USC. Seems like Knoxville was good for him. Too bad for him that he couldn't fulfill his NFL dream...

    NFL Draft

He says he is innocent. You would think that teams interested in him have done some due diligence to understand the situation. Him not being drafted, or having a free agent contact signed yet may be telling. Hopefully he is able to get his life and promising football career back on track...

    2024-2025 Transfer Portal Thread

Youth, money and he somehow seems to have gone off the rails. I don't know any specifics, but would guess Sark(and other schools) understands the risks and have plans to try to keep these athletes grounded and staying focused on what matters for their success. It a real shame, hopefully...

    NFL Draft

That whole deal with Colorado retiring the #2 jersey seemed ridiculous. If either Deion or Shedaur had any humility and objectivity it wouldn't have happened. It will be interesting to see how the draft goes for him, and how his shtick plays out in the NFL.

Sounds like we have one more spot. Hopefully Keelan Marion from BYU chooses the Horns to close out the stellar 2025 portal class.

Add in that he will be learning a new system with a new, and mostly less talented team, and without enough time. Plus even if he enjoys some future success, he will always be remembered for this fiasco, preventing any significant endorsement deals. What a cluster fck. If he was smart he...

Sark comments on Maalik Murphy Mind bogling amount Duke is paying for Maalik's replacement. This may be part of why Nico was restless making 2.3 million. "The arrival of Tulane transfer quarterback Darian Mensah, who reportedly signed a two-year, $8 million NIL deal with the Blue Devils...
