Who was the TE Texas recruited. It was during the Mack years. He was injured, bulked up, after that he played on the offensive line. He had great feet, was strong, and was tenacious.  I think he played right tackle, but that may very well be wrong.

I thought the biggest issue the last 10 years, at least for 5 or so years, was injury. Remember, we recruited some great TE, then freak accidents.    Aside from David Thomas, who really was a great TE, we had Bo Scaife, who was good, as well.  He had to have knee surgery before he came, and...

What you can’t teach are the intangibles. A coach can teach blocking. He already has nice soft hands, yes? Bricks for hands, speed, size?  Those things are a little more challenging, but whatdaIknow?  Imagirl. Hook ‘em!

I dug out crabgrass for 2 1/2 hours today. It’s tough!  Pretty sure I don’t have any grub worms!

Recruiting predictions were almost all Auburn.

It was nice of him. If it is crabgrass, if it is too new the stems break when you try to pull it out. Darnit. Im becoming quite the expert!  It is much easier than Johnson grass, though.
