I was thinking about this last night before I went to sleep.  I was weighing the after football benefits of Texas vs LSU, and unless one grew up in Baton Rouge, I just don’t think there is a doubt that Austin is a great choice. Look at the opportunities that former Texas football players have.

Steve was a star for the Longhorns. I remember watching him play.  ALS is a very cruel disease. Prayers for him and his family . Hook ‘em!

When someone has good instincts and a natural feel for the game, their learning curve is so much steeper.  The trend line is straight up. If he makes some freshman mistakes, be patient. His future is very bright, but I hope he doesn’t read too many of his press clippings. Hook ‘em!
