At this point, it doesn't seem like a great investment to recruit OL. They rarely start as freshmen and seem to take a couple years to develop while sitting on the bench unless they are a Kelvin Banks. I'd rather pay to get experienced OL in the transfer portal.

I'm not sure Goosby would be down for that. He chose to forego the NFL draft to come back....to play RT? I'd be shocked if that was the case.

I don't get it. Why not try to negotiate before entering into the portal? Are these kids wanting to re-live their recruiting process? You 'commit' to a school you're transferring to but you're still taking visits?

I agree with you on most points, but until we start getting more players from the portal, depth could be an issue, especially on the OL. Also interesting that we're doing a house cleaning when it was thought that the culture within our program was in a good spot. At this point all I can do is...
