GAME WEEK – #7 Ole Miss at #19 Texas

One way to negate another poor performance from our QB is to run the ball. Just run the ball. Pepper in a couple of short passes and maybe a double move to see if any receiver can get loose.
I'm thinking slants and short in routes mixed in with a zone run game. Progress from there.
TE drag route as well.

If we ever did run an actualy "Zone Read" and not a fake one with no option.... the QB keep is good for 8-10 unmolested yards often. I can see it from my recliner, and we keep handing it off in that zone read look.... I know that isn't the "Sark system." But it wasn't the Greg Davis system either before Vince Young.

I have tickets to this game. I bought them when Texas was ranked #1 and Ole Miss was something like #7. I'm going even with the historically bad change of circumstances -- with all my (adult) kids. I'm selling them on the intrigue of Arch improving or we get to see KJ Lacey.

Also, if we would happen to knock off the #7 team in the land... with tOSU and Tennessee in the W column... we are right back in the playoff hunt.

Hookem!!!!

Just got back from Ft Worth and spent some time listening to ESPN's Sirrus channel. The top subject they discussed today was "where does Arch Manning transfer to?"

This is ridiculous
