Final mid week game for Texas

So, how the bottom of the 8th went:

Borba got on via error. Monsour walk. Courville sac. bunt only play to 1st.

New pitcher for UTSA.

Robbins walk. Bases loaded with 1 out for Tinney. Tinney hits a grand slam.

Now pitcher for UTSA.

A Rod out at 1st. Mendoza walk. Becerra single. Mendoza goes from 1st to 3rd. Becerra stole 2nd. Pack Jr, who came in the top of the 8th inning for Larson, strikeout.

After 8 complete Texas leads 11-8

I watched some of the replay this morning. Tinney's HR was an absolute bomb traveling 483 feet! You could tell the second he hit it that it was gone!

Overall we went 21-2 against non conference opponents this year.

Overall we went 21-2 against non conference opponents this year.

Not too shabby. I'm just not convinced we found a 4th and 5th starter. The bullpen is a little inconsistent for a long run in the playoffs. I think we can make it to Omaha, but not sure how far we will go. This is a problem all teams have so it will come down to who can answer the call.
