Alabama is ripping Texas Tech a new one. 80-49 with 6:57 left.
I picked Tech to win that one. Oh well, I have Mich beating Tech Bama anyway.

A buddy of mine is a Boilermaker. I foresee some beers being bet on this game.

What? No shots of whiskey with the beers? ;)

Matas in foul trouble. Things are normal. lol

Swain with three TOs in consecutive possessions. Yet, we're still in this.

For the first time this season, I am not mad at the end of a loss. We played extremely well in an environment that seemed to favor the opposition. Even the announcers got excited when Purdue first took the lead. They couldn't contain themselves.

But there we were, taking #2 seed Purdue to the wire and should have beat them, honestly. Never expected us to get this far, but am now convinced we should be advancing.

Game ball to the whole team and staff. Bravo!

Kaufman-Renn and entire Purdue team but especially Renn are amazing at getting fouls called. I hate it but it’s a necessary art.

Team busted their ass this tournament and we all have to be happy. We probably have 3 players that are realistically playing on any of the remaining teams. People stepped up. Coaches got them motivated.

I know he was out muscled but why didn’t Swain at least try to jump there for the ball? Why not have Matas in?

Proud of how this team finished the season, and there were plenty of times I was down on them this season. This bodes well for the future though.

Speaking of the future, what’s this team going to look like next year. Lots of departures, and some really good players coming in. I think we’d need a starting point guard out of the portal, and probably a starting PF (there’s a Lithuanian from St Mary who entered, just saying)

Good run by the Horns, proud of the Horns!

We lose Mark, Pope and Weaver as they're seniors. Hopefully we can get similar players to replace them.

Watch the replay and you will see Swain was pushed in the back on that tip in by #4. They let him get away with a lot last night.
