My mother dated Don Meredith in high school (Mt Vernon). She once told me she only went out with Don because she wanted to make Don's older brother, Billy Jack, jealous. My mom was a year older than Don. Anyway, they went out several times. She said she had fun.

I was born in Mt Vernon and my mother is buried there where she grew up.
