Texas claims 68 total team NCs. In football, Texas claims 4.

aggy claims 32 total team NCs. I added this year's volleyball NC since their own website doesn't include it. In football, they claim 3.

Up until around 15 years ago, aggy claimed 1 in football, 1939. Then some services went back and gave NCs in retro to thus now aggy claims 3 (1939, 1927, 1919). The 1919 team went undefeated and gave up 0 points the whole year. The 1927 team finished 8-0-1.

Those same services awarded Texas 5 additional NCs, 1914, 1941, 1968, 1977, 1981 which Texas doesn't claim. Of those team, the 1914 team went 8-0 giving up only 21 points total. Interesting enough, the 1914 team didn't play aggy. I know there was a time back then they didn't play and I'm sure each side has their own version of why.

Of the Texas NCs, swimming dominates as we have 16 men's and 9 women's NCs.

Of the aggy NCs, equestrian dominates as they have 12 NCs.
