I don't think Texas makes a move with either. Sark is seeking the final OL, a guard, preferrably a guard who starts. I hear some talk about a guard who will play in the national championship tomorrow night. I hope that's true.

Bottom line, the next OL we get will be our starting LG, IMO.

If we don't have an ace up our sleeve (like a stud guard who just played last night), I'm going to wonder why we didn't treat LG like we did DT the previous couple of seasons.... you know, throw about 5 decent prospects in the pot and see which one rises to the top.

I have a feeling there won’t be. Coaches will want every possible amount of practice time to get the team insync, and a spring game counts as a practice day

Agree. And really a spring game is only for the fans. Team has to stay vanilla and are more worried about injuries than getting better. So I hope Sark says no and I think he will.

I don't get this. Texas has to have a plan here, right? This kid obviously wants to be at Texas and he was solid at T state. I would argue he is as good or better than the kid from Or State. Something has to be up here. It seems as though Texas is stringing this kid along.

Or, they may be waiting to see what falls into the portal from the two title game teams and also those who won't get into the portal officially until tomorrow.

back then, I would bring them all into the fold and then let them battle it out for #1. Maybe he is asking for too much money. I don't know. Just makes sense to bring him in along with the other ones and let the battle begin. Similar to what they did at DL last year. They didn't need to bring in Lavon Johnson from Maryland, but they did for competition.
