I don't like Texas slow playing recruiting, but is anyone disappionted with the recruiting class they have put put together so far?

We are ranked 16 (on3). It’s probably where we’ve been the last few years at this time and most of us freak out. Of course I’d love to have more 5/4 stars committed to us right now but know that we always close strong.

We again will have to rely on flipping kids this fall. We’ve been good at it.

People keep saying were at about the same place we were last year. The problem is that we werent swinging and missing like we have this year. We were just idle.
We have been good at flipping but are we going to be able to flip 7-8 at this point ?

We are so loaded with talent that recruits won't play right away, that is a factor. Also NIL isn't an unlimited bucket. A school like TT or Baylor is desperate for top talent and overpay. We don't need to, especially if it means pissing off the players we have already. These other schools are blowing lots of cash on kids that will probably leave after a year or two. We have a really good class, and don't need to get in the bidding wars for kids who won't play much anyway

It's not fun right now for sure. I don't have any issues with it as this has been Sarks MO.

Also, there is a new paradigm in NIL and Texas will make sure to have it's ducks in a row. Ross Dellenger just reported that 1/3 of NIL deals reveiewed by Deloitte have been approved. How many of these guys being offered big NIL deals are even going to have those deals available to them in a few months if they get denied.

OTF guys have been alluded to something pretty big that'll be in place soon for Texas NIL.

I say, give Sark and Texas some time and I imagine we will be in a good place come December.

We are all banking on that!

And if it doesn't work, we can use the transfer portal. Although that's a $$ game usually too.

Honestly, given our performance the last two seasons and in the NFL draft, I'd assume we would be in a better spot this year. People should be knocking on our door to come here given our success and development.

But anyways, there's still time!

Part of being a responsible gun owner includes the number one tenant of never pointing a gun at a person in case it went off. Whoever purposely pointed a gun at a person and knowing pulled the trigger ( unless done in an act of self defense) needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
