I saw a video... pretty messed up by actually announcing Texas and putting the hat on, then quieting everybody down and saying the University of Texas Tech... wow.

Don't be naive to think Texas Tech is innocent in all of this. Remember the reaction of Beard going to Texas and students rocking busses, etc.? TT was pissed when their million dollar softball pitcher couldn't beat Texas in WCWS. Texas lives rent-free in sand aggy's head, just like they do with aggy. Insecurity fuels classless.

On the Ojo thing: 1. He’s not a 5 star. He will finish down below 100 in the consensus I bet. Still a great developmental prospect but not a 5* imo.
2. I don’t blame him. That’s about what you’d have to guarantee me in money to spend 3 years in Lubbock. That’s more than most nfl rookie contracts for their first 4 years!

As far as Turntine: I love the movement. He just hasn’t shown any ability to hold on weight. He will be a big project for the Texas Registered Dietitians! If he can get and maintain 300lbs he’s a 1st rounder.

I guess it's based on the previous years, but I'm not really concerned about 2026 recruiting. Come November, if Texas doesn't have a great product on the field and they decide not to pay for anyone, then I'll be concerned. Feels like just yesterday that Kelvin Banks committed to Oregon in the Summertime. Just saying.

Don't forget the free rent space we occupy in the minds of the sooners. Makes me laugh when their recruits do the Horns down. They can't say anything positive about their own university, so they give the Horns down. LOL.

The below is a good blow by blow of the Ojo announcement from another site. You can see why we won't be taking any call to us he may make.

Still getting caught up from all the fun yesterday. After watching 3 mins of the Ojo announcement ceremony, it’s so unbelievably self-important and narcissistic to watch a guy stand up, put the Texas Longhorn hat on his head, declare he’s going to Texas, the group of friends and family goes wild while the two parents just sit there. Then after 8-10 seconds of fan cheering as Ojo stands with the longhorn hat on his head doing the ‘hook em’, Ojo starts waving his hands and says ‘no, no, no, I’m actually going to Texas Tech, laughs, puts on that tier-2 school hat and unzips his jacket. What a blessing to not have that jacka$$ wearing the burnt orange.

His dad shook his hand after changing his announcement to Tech. Will be interesting to see how he’s doing in 3-4 yrs/.
