A great season and a lot of Texas Fight throughout. Compared to previous seasons, we have closed the gap on the OU softball machine but they are still an incredibly strong force.

We have a young team and should expect to compete next year as well.

Like I said earlier, we need an absolute Ace on this staff, whether we recruit and develop one or add one via transfer.

ou has just been a machine these past 4 years and their coach deserves a lot of credit. Man, that hurt to write that.

Our offense fizzles when it matters, we still make atrocious errors...and yes we need an ace. Maybe Kavan grows into it next year.

I agree. I only watched a couple of games and there was basically no offense. I didn't see the florida game. But yeah, we had the Big12 POTY in Atwood. She was 3-12 in the WCWS, 1-5 against ou. Not trying to pick on her but that's not much production when you need it most.

I agree. I only watched a couple of games and there was basically no offense. I didn't see the florida game. But yeah, we had the Big12 POTY in Atwood. She was 3-12 in the WCWS, 1-5 against ou. Not trying to pick on her but that's not much production when you need it most.

We were one of the best offensive teams in softball this year. Offense is hard against softball aces which is all we faced in the WCWS. We run ruled Florida and beat the best pitcher in college softball twice. Scored enough to beat OU too. We absolutely need a shutdown ace.

Not a better pitcher in the nation, much less in the portal. I'm afraid she is likely to head to OU, that's the early suspicions at least.

Mike White and staff need to go all out for her because....F OU. Also, the academics at UT is superior to OU and very close to Stanford....in some majors.
