Or he's glad he dodged a player who's all about the bag, not the education, development for NFL, long-term in-state connections, etc. I get the impression Sark won't chase those kind of guys because he knows it could disrupt the culture he's created. In the long run, it's smart coaching to build a team with the guys who are bought in for the right reasons. Just look at where the aggys are with their high $$$ '22 class vs. Sark.

We are definitely in a different era of college recruiting. Those that can play the game will succeed in getting what they want. I do agree that a salaray cap should be put into place.

But let's be honest, for an 18 yr old kid, money is the highest priority.

Get rid of the publicized rating system. If the players aren't rated, then they have no idea where they fall. Once you attach a 5, 4 star, then the kid knows the value range they should wait for. Teams can keep their own rating system.
