Awful time of the year for me. Too early to really care or get too excited about 2025 recruiting and 2024 and transfer portal is done. This used to be the exciting time with recruiting, but now Feb sucks. College basketball isn't exciting yet and college baseball is a ways off. Oh well, I guess I have to watch the boring Superbowl.

I won't be watching the Super Bowl. It's just become too political. TWO national anthems? I don't think so. I'd rather watch the Hyenas mate on Nat Geo.

Spring training is just around the corner. Recruiting-wise, this is a time when we try to get the base of the class. As you saw, we lost a lineman we were after just yesterday to ou. Lots of twists and turns in the early period.

Texas hoops is improving and apparently figuring some things out. I wanted to give up on them but we keep hanging around.

Feb sucks but it's also the shortest month of the year. So the suckage is limited. lol

I was happy to see the Longhorn beat the aggy in the NFC Championship Game. Don't have anything against Detroit but the aggies wouldn't let us hear the end of it. And they would have had another national championship added to their stadium.

The 49ers are one of my most hated teams. Rice, TO, Young, Merton 'Goose Neck' Hanks, Ricky Waters...The list goes on

I have not watched his clips, but will take your word for it. Big crop this year on the OL front. I wonder how many OL we'll take this year? 3-4-5?

I would imagine that depends on who goes to the portal after spring practices. Someone is bound to go. What would it be if an OL didn't transfer? Three years?

I worked with a guy back in the 80s who had some deep connections with the 49ers and Montana wasn't what he projected. Great QB without a doubt but a very sketchy person. Of course, this was all secondhand news.

I'm with you on that SHA. I really like Mahomes and would have been the only reason I watched my first NFL game of the season. THat was until I heard about the two national anthems and honoring LGBTQ all superbowl week.
