I’m glad we are not going thru that mess. They will be lucky to find a decent coach, one who can compete in the SEC.
Several on this board have complained about Sark his entire time here. If they had their way we would be in the same mess.
I’m glad they were wrong.
So after our next loss, and they come with the negative stuff again, remember who they were.

Even if Texas comes with a win, some will come with something to complain about - for days. 🙄

I hear there's a chance Sanders does not leave early. Catalon did not sign up for the senior thing against Tech. He has another year of eligibility. Only question on him is – can he physically do it any more?
Interesting. I assume blocking has damaged Sanders' NFL grade? If he improved his blocking - he'd probably earn much more $$ in the NFL draft??

Catalon is so good - when he's in there. I haven't seen run support from a safety like he provides - since Jerry Gray.

I will never forget Robert Brewer’s quarterback keeper up the middle for a touchdown that led Texas to a 14-12 Cotton Bowl victory over Alabama in 1982. Surprising fact, Robert Brewer is the last walk-on quarterback to start for Texas and the last to start in the Cotton Bowl. Brewer’s father, Charley, was a starting quarterback at Texas in the ‘50’s and his uncle, George, played with Darrell Royal at Oklahoma. Charley and Robert Brewer are the only father-son combination to play quarterback at Texas. Ironically, both Charley and Robert, defeated Bear Bryant coached teams, Charley defeating Texas A&M in ‘54 & ‘55 and Robert defeating Alabama in ‘82.

When I was in high school, Robert Brewer and an OL from Texas came and addressed our Fellowship of Christian Athletes group. I've been a huge fan ever since. Very good QB for Texas.... better person.

By the way, we currently have 3 of the best walk-ons I can remember (along with Brewer): Auburn, Taafe and Bush.
