I put this grouping together while sighting in my 30.06 today. I was at 100 yards. I got it straightened out.

I can do that with my Sako .244 but Im not very accurate with my Rem M700 in 30'06, because Im a wuss when it come to recoil

Per Oddshark (I only use that as a reference because they used that on the Austin broadcast ) it opened at 20.5 and quickly moved to 22 , being the amateur handicapper I think it will go higher maybe as high as 25, FTR I use pre game .com for my source, but then I only bet the big horse races nowadays, I was never a big player, I just had friends who were on the Las Vegas dissemination services that made the odds for many casinos in town, but now that Fan Duel and William Hill are in the mix I think they use their own in house experts, I just like to watch the odds move or not which means money is being bet or not...I went 6-4 on this weeks pick em so Im like the general public

SHA....I would not hunt with that rifle. That group could be moved right with adjustments to the scope, but with that wide of a group I would never feel comfortable.

I don't know, that was pretty good for me. I did get it moved a click to the right. But I didn't take a pic of that target.

Not all 30.06 have harsh recoil. My Marlin is a pretty smooth shooter. I've used it so much I don't know if I could use another rifle.

if you are shooting Texas deer at that range you are doing something very wrong
