Common Man Predictions – ou and the inbred nation

I already made a prediction, but would like to add this, ousux is going to sell out to stop the rushing game and make Ewers beat them over the top. If they're successful it could be a long day cause running the football is what has allowed this team to take over in the second half.
I once asked former OC BH that question and his answer/philosophy was that the passing game opens up the running game not vice versa like old time football coaches preached and then uses the ground game to eat up the clock and put the game away. He also hinted that the "youngster" didnt agree with him and that was one of the reason he started looking elsewhere

ESPN College GameDay radio (sirrius xm) – several times today I had to turn it off. Goobers on there talking about how ou is going to beat Texas. I wanted to puke.

I think we have an opportunity to be balanced on offense once again. OU isn't great anywhere on Def (not terrible anywhere either) and will likely play high risk, high reward. They may stymy a few drives with blitzes but we should be able to run consistently and will hit short and intermediate passes consistently and land some deep balls as well.

They don't have a good run game and our D-line should be able to shut down the running game by themselves. Controlling the run with nickle or dime personnel will allow us to commit a lot of resources to covering their subpar WRs or pressure Gabriel. If we can get him uncomfortable their offense will have trouble moving the ball. They will likely hit a deep shot or two on us, Gabriel throws a very good deep ball.
