Common Man Predictions – ou and the inbred nation

High of about 63-64, winds 5-10 gusting to 20, no significant chance of rain. Perfect weather, but wind gusts could result in some inaccurate throws or field goal attempts.
I havent been to the Cotton Bowl since the 80's, but the wind swirls and is definitely a factor, Ive seen a few passes that that looked like a wounded duck during waterfowl season

woke up this morning only see the line has moved to Texas minus 6.....and its only Monday

Traditionally with games like this the spread doesnt even matter in the end

I think Gabriel will need to hit multiple deep shots for them to stay in the game while hoping Texas' offense farts around.

This game can have the wildest of scenarios but not this year folks.  I see both teams coming out hot in the first half with OU connecting on some deep balls and the Longhorns moving the ball at will.  The teams will be within 4 of each other at half.

The second half is a different story with the Longhorns putting pressure on Gabriel, causing a turnover and pulling away.  The Longhorns O tires out the Sooners D in the second half.  I predict Xavier Worthy to have a big day and Baxter hitting 100+ yds.

Texas -  38

OU - 27

Well, we have had some issues with our safety play, so they may have seen that on film.

This would be a big win for Texas to show they are for real. This will show that Bama is no fluke.

I already made a prediction, but would like to add this, ousux is going to sell out to stop the rushing game and make Ewers beat them over the top. If they're successful it could be a long day cause running the football is what has allowed this team to take over in the second half.

They may have success with that in the 1st qtr. But as the game moves on, our big ass OL is going to take its toll on that OU DL. We will gash them. I want them to make Stutsman hate life. lol

When was the last time UT had a winning streak against ou?  It doesn't look good for us but as long as Ewers is on

UT 35

OU 33

Is it possible that Sark's players having three years in his system is an advantage over Venables' guys who are in their second year? Also, I think they brought in a lot of transfers before this season so those guys are in their first season with him. I have to believe that could be a significant benefit for us.
