I like no Oklahoma State considering all the shenanigans in that match-up over the years.
IMHO, Okie Light will be one of the weakest teams in the Big 12.  And it was our turn to get them at home.

Worst part is that if we are still here in 24 they will probably find a way to send us back to Stoolwater.

Nah.  If the BIG12 messes with Texss then Texas can refuse to play any future BIG12 OOC games. I think it's in everyone's interest to negotiate in good faith.  Texas holds more cards then it would first appear.

The cash cows are leaving so the B12 is going to milk OU and UT for as long as they can.

It's always about the money. This is just a huge game of chicken. They'll get it worked out. No way does Texas play in this conference in 2025.
I also suspect FOX is the biggest stumbling block, but I don't think it's about money at this point.

I believe that the TX and 0u games in the SEC will be more valuable then the the games we are giving up in the BIG12,  therefore if it was all about money then they could come up with a deal where everyone comes out ahead financially.

My guess is Fox doesn't want to lose the games, and will not settle for any reasonable offer, even if the amoung would exceed the value of the lost revenue.

So you're saying Fox is being a beeatch? I agree completely. I would think Texas and 0u could work out a deal that Fox could broadcast some future OOC games.

It seems everyone was on against 0U.  0u had one of the worse defenses in ALL of FBS.

0U Defense 2022
YDs/g    444.8 (121st FBS, 9th BIG 12)
Rush/g    187.5 (106th FBS, 9th BIG 12)
Pass/g    257.3 (115th FBS, 10th BIG 12)
Pont/g    30.0  (99th FBS, 8th BIG 12)

Ewers passes against 0U were just pitch and catch. He didnt seem to have the zip he had previously
Seriously?  It looked to me like he sliced them up surgically!

What he id lastseason is history to me. What matters is this year and how he does.

He will have some one pushing him this year some thing that was missing last year.

He did.   Four of the five excellent quarters he played in the regular season.
I’ll have to rewatch the game to be sure, (which I will for the shear fun of it), but I thought the passing game was more controlled in the RRR than later games. Maybe bc he wasn’t completely healthy and couldn’t throw the deep ball at all.

There has been discussion on number of stars players has.

TCU had 17 4 star or better players on last seasons team Texas had 59 4 star or better. Very big difference.
