I always thought him sitting out his senior year was an indicator that he's not a team guy. What's great about football is that it's the epitome of team sports, and those who excel as individuals also tend to understand that their success is dependent on the other 10 guys on the field. If he decides to leave, I wish him well.
Did anyone else on team sit out Sr. year?

Not that I know of. If you're referring to Ewers, he was getting coached at Ohio State. Not even close to sitting out. Blue literally bailed on his team to prepare to sit on the bench at UT.

I noticed both QE and XW dont wear any knee pads, not sure if Bijan was the same way, but these guys are playing with fire and risking career ending injuries without them....or am I being the " get off my lawn guy"

I don't understand it either. Worthy's pants are up his leg so high they're almost shorts.

I remember that day well. My old man had a few too many beers and got totally pissed and turned the game off and went to bed. I turned the game back on in time to witness the comeback. We lived in Austin at the time. When the game was over I went outside and you could hear people honking their car horns all over town.

Hook'em!
We piled into our 1968 Ford Fairlane stationwagon and drove up and down the drag.  Dad honking the horn and I had an actual cow bell that I rung.

Miss hearing cow bells at the games.

I'm not sure knee pads really do all that much to protect a player. they certainly don't protect against ligament injuries, just bumps and bruises. Skill players don't wear them these days so that they can be faster.

Linemen, especially OL wear the big bulky knee braces to protect the knee ligaments.

Hearing Blue scrubbed all Longhorn images from his social media. Anyone know what may be happening here?

...and, or, lack of playing time.
Well, that's what happens when you're stuck behind a Sr, 2 Jr's, a RS-FR (or So) and you didn't play your Sr year of HS.

I truly believe he would've got playing time if he was better than anyone else on the roster.  So, I have to think that he was not at their level at all.  I'm not just talking about running the ball.  I have to think that maybe the staff did not trust him in pass pro or even knowing the playbook.  Anyone can run the damn ball, but not everyone can play RB.

Plus, Baxter and Wisner coming in will mean more competition. I wish we could keep him, but with the portal and NIL, that's not likely. I think Blue is a really good back, just hope he doesn't go to TCU.
