So we wipe the turf with OU and now here we are, returning home as the big victors. Can we maintain our intensity against a lesser opponent? Will there be a let down?

Maybe we've grown out of those habits. Maybe.

ISU began the year expecting to contend for the Big 12 and a bowl. Right now, they're worried about their offense. They're not very good.

I expect the Horns to set up a big showdown with Oklahoma State with a big win over the Cyclones.

1. The defense will score a TD in this game.

2. ISU's defense isn't bad. Sark will need to tap some wizardry.

Texas 34

Iowa State 3

I think you're close if we don't turn the ball over. The Cyclones will try to run the ball and the clock if they're smart. I see a small letdown after the 0u dismantling, but confidence and momentum are building. We're a different team with The Mullet at QB.

TEXAS 34

Iowa St 13

Iowa St is top 10 defense in points per game and yards per game.  Yes the stats can be skewed this early in the season due to weak OoC schedules.  Nonetheless they held Kansas to their lowest point production and well as Kansas St. Both are decent offenses.  Under Campbell, Iowa State will always be physical and tough on defense.  I don’t think we see another blowout, but a solid win is likely.

ive got Texas winning  38-10

I hope the OU victory is behind these guys and their attention has turned to beating a team that has won 3 straight on them.  Not to mention being embarrassed @Iowa State last year and basically being called a culture less team.

I think the revenge tour is real.

Iowa State 13

Wouldn't be surprised to see a bit of a sluggish start due to the Red River hangover and hard-pressed to believe the windless cyclones score double digits but stranger things have happened. That said, I'm going with;

Texas 31

ISU 6

Iowa State has a good defense but their offense doesn't seem to be very productive.

Texas 28  -  10 ISU

Horns are hitting their stride. Sark wants to keep momentum headed into Stillwater.

Horns 35

ISU 14

27-17 longhorns. Campbells bunch cover as we have a bit of a hangover. But defense does well enough

Texas 41

Iowa St 17

Hall and Billingsley get involved and the offense takes another level.  Quinn has one INT that Iowa State drives for a TD.

Defense is stout but loosens up a little in the second half.

One of these will happen:  special teams score or INT for TD.
